  4. What are the top 3 problems that are confronting your company at this moment, in order of priority?
  5. Do you have any revenue?

    2. What was the transaction?
    3. How did you find them (or they find you)?
  6. Have you lost any sales?
    1. Why?
    2. To whom?
  7. How have you funded your business so far?
  8. What is your current monthly expense level?
  9. Please tell me about your team?
  10. Who are you targeting as a customer next?
  11. Please send me any sales and marketing literature that you currently have.

We meet in a Skype call.  The agenda for the call is

During the same call we will discuss the following specifics unless you have more compelling issues:

  1. Define the ecosystem that your company, product and customer reside in.
  2. Clarify your short term priorities.
  3. Clarify your business model and its strengths and weaknesses.
  4. Clarify your value statement and how your marketing message conveys it.
  5. Clarify your sales process and your likely customer acquisition cost.
  6. Establish clear next steps
